QUESTION 5: Have all job risks been considered?
 

All the risks of the job/task should have been considered before operations proceed.  The complexity of individual operations and the overall job/task should be well defined and obtainable. Consider the following and assess the level of risk associated with each to determine if safe work performance may be affected.

• Do the operations, tasks, or process objectives have clear definition?

• Are the objectives reasonable and obtainable? 

• Have local emergency services been contacted and put on alert so they can respond to an incident quickly?

• Does the project have an emergency or medical evacuation plan?

• Would the performance period be considered reasonable? 

• Would an incident tax current staffing levels?

• Have the complexity of the project and the severity and probability of an incident occurring been considered by planners?
