QUESTION 3: Would the equipment be considered correct for the job/task?
The equipment (e.g., tools, equipment, hardware, PPE) used to complete the job/task may create risks for employee(s), even when used as intended. Equipment may have to be used in a manner that is contrary to the manufacturer’s recommendations to get the job/task done. Consider the following and assess the level of risk associated with each to determine if safe work performance may be affected.
